October Re-cap

Okay, thanks to my friend, Deb from Deb's World, I have decided to jump on her bandwagon and do a monthly re-cap post. She has a lot of fun idea on her blog. Check it out---especially if you are interested in seeing how people across the pond live! She has been a blog friend for several years now.

Out to lunch eleven times this month--too many to mention, some at restaurants some at friends' houses. One of those was the 7.8-mile walk to have lunch!

Concerts: Bon Jovi tribute and George Strait, Willie Nelson, Carrie Underwood, and Little Big Town.

Three meetings: Circle journal, investiture meeting, and AYM. Two dental visits. TPAC to see a production of Churchill with my friends who went to England along with Diane and Gren.

Out to dinner four times: J. Alexander's, Connors Steak & Seafood, Richland and Goatfeathers. Also, Olly (our soon-to-be grandson-in-law) got a nice promotion at work. We'll be celebrating next week in Cancun for the wedding.

Bridge (played) and went to the Beach with my brother, Matt, and sil, Sharon.

Eight: the number of books I read this month. (I had to hold off finishing one so that I could use "eight" for the "e." The only five stars this month were: Troublemaker, The Year of Yes, and Long Way Down.

Retreats: Scrapbook and Church

Okay, that was fun--even though it was kinda' hard!

Thanks, Deb.
