About two weeks ago, Stephanie, Mindy and I went to Vintage Market Days at our new fairgrounds.
I have a method whenever we do things like this---start all the way in the back. There's usually no one back there and you can at least avoid some of the crowds.
Santa was all alone back there. That made it the perfect opportunity to get our picture taken with him.
We browsed around. There was all of the usual stuff, clothes, jewelry, florals, plants, Christmas decorations and assorted food: nuts, dips, soups, popcorns and desserts. We laughed about the fact that we hadn't even used up the dips we bought the last time we went to one of these type things.
We didn't buy much. But, I was enthralled with these. They were so darn cute!
They are gallon jugs. It's a family business. The guy makes them.
They had examples of many ways to use them.
I thought they were unique. So, of course, I had to buy one! I went back when we were finished because I didn't want to lug it around the whole time. While I was paying for mine, I decided to get one for Sandy as a hostess gift since we're going there this weekend.
Here's what I did with ours:
I put assorted miniature ornaments on the bottom and some fun treats on the top.
After Christmas, I might turn it in to another snow globe. I have a lot of supplies left over from our family project.

Glad you were able to find something unique and make great use of it. Looks as if you'll find lots of creative ways to enjoy it.
