1. I wanted to visit my sister, Janice. She's in a memory care unit now at Delmar Gardens. She's doing fabulously! It's the right place for her. She's made a lot of friends. They all talk nonsense to each other and laugh like it all makes sense! It did my heart good to see her so happy! And, she eats everything put in front of her!!
2. Jeanne and I met with our sister-in-law's daughter, Jackie to clean out her mom's (Janet) scrapbook room. Before we could even do that, we spent 4 hours organizing layouts to put in albums!! More on that in my "Scrapbook Saturday" post.
3. I was missing my siblings, so I was happy to get to see them too. I stayed with Jeanne this time! We all met for dinner along with a couple nieces. After the day Jeanne and I had, we needed this:
This blackberry martini was so good--I had two!! Then, I looked up a recipe--I'm going to make them at home!
