I was able to get Cabbage Patch dolls for my girls through a friend whose husband was traveling for work and was able to snag them!
Okay, this brings back a sad memory. I got a Tiny Tears doll for Christmas and two days later, Ronnie ran over it with his new tricycle. The head was made of bisque and was crushed. I don't think he did it on purpose--our basement wasn't that big. I think he might have just lost control. Actually, I remember being disappointed, but not that much. I never played with dolls very much. It was always books for me!
We got these every year. Notice anything about this Life Saver book? It contained a dozen rolls vs. today--only 8!!
This vintage game display belongs to a friend of mine. I love it! Makes me want to get some old games and do something just like this!
This is her Barbie doll up close! Love the bottle brush tree in the wooden spool too. Now there's a cute craft idea for next year!
