Total Eclipse

So, today is our 46th anniversary. The universe could not be giving us a better gift---a total eclipse. We happen to be some of the lucky ones who will be in the path to experience the total eclipse. Looks like it's starting around noon with the total happening at 1:28 p.m. We looked at many options about where to go and what to do. We've decided to just stay home and experience the eclipse while floating in the pool with a bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary. We have the proper eyewear, so we're all set. It surely will be a lot easier than what we had to wear in the 1960's!

The girls laughed when I told them about doing this. We did it. You were to poke a pin prick of a hole in the box and look through that. I don't remember seeing a darn thing. Anyway, this is how we did it back then. Does anyone else remember? It does seem pretty silly, but at least our eyes weren't damaged!
