My First Hydrangeas of the Season

They are gorgeous:

But then in came this with the flowers:

They say ticks are going to be really bad here this year. They are always bad in my yard. I have the pool and garden area around it sprayed every year. I don't have the front porch area sprayed, but maybe I need to start.

It's enough to make you itch all day!
