Not much to report this week. I got my StitchFix box, but didn't like a thing in it, so I sent the whole thing back. In fairness, I have enough nice clothes. As a result, I'm being really picky. Plus, I cut down to getting the box every other month. It's just fun to get a surprise in the mail.
I did make a donation to get this:
A little background: for Christmas, I made donations to save the whales, sharks, sea turtles and elephants. In exchange for the donations, they send bracelets along with cards with your animal's name on them. There's a website that you access by using your phone on the little bar code thingy (don't know what it's really called). Then, a map opens up and shows where your animal is and has traveled. It's not in real time because they don't want to give the locations away to poachers. Still, it's pretty interesting---AND it's for a cause. All the "kids" (who are now adults) really liked the bracelets and what they stood for---even Butch!! Well, I got an email that now they are also trying to save the polar bears. Of course I made another donation with the intention of surprising the "kids" with a new animal to follow. Well, when the bracelets came in, there was this one. I just HAD to keep this one for myself. It makes me happy that there's a polar bear named Barbara out there. She's a female (obviously), 35 years old, who has a set of twins! Love that!
In case you are interested, you can check out Wild Life Collections here! It's really a cool website.
And then I did buy these:
By the time you are reading this, we are on our way to the beach. So, you'll just have to wait and see what I do with them! You know me---always with the ideas!
I hope you have a great Wednesday.
Have a brilliant trip - my goodness I'm envious!!!
