Scrapbook Page Based on a Sketch

I just finished this page based on a sketch by Becky Fleck. Click on that link to see the sketch and compare it to my interpretation.
"Baby of Mine" tells the story of how Mindy loved Dumbo when she was a baby---well, actually still does. For Christmas, Stephanie gave her a framed album that had the record laser cut in to Dumbo.

Since everything I do is double-page layouts, here's the right side page. You can see how I tied them together with the gingham strip that runs across both sides. Notice the stitching on both pages. Do you recognize the buttons?

  1. I am intrigued by those giant pins! The gingham works really well to pull the pages together ...
