Santorini, Greece

Well this post will be short and sweet. I can't believe what happened. I downloaded my pictures like I always do (and preach) EACH time I use it. Then, I delete them from my memory card so I start fresh each time.

This time, after I downloaded them, made sure they were in my "Med Cruise" album, I deleted them. Just like I always do. Next I started editing them---I try to do that right away if I have time. All of a sudden, my "iPhoto unexpectedly quit!" My photos were lost. Gone. Forever. OMG!! I have never had anything like that happen to me before. Luckily, there were only 22 photos and Karolyn has taken them too. We'll be burning our photos for each other when we get home anyway. So it's not a complete disaster. I've already figured out how to prevent that from happening again. As soon as I download them, I'm going to hit "save" before I delete the originals. But for now...

That means---no photos to share. And you might know---Santorini was THE most beautiful place of all! However, it has worn out my knees. I've been having a problem with my right knee for months now. By favoring it, I've worn out the left one! I think I'll be taking a break from one of the tours, but not tomorrow's. We have a 6 hour tour in Rhodes which includes a cooking class.

In the mean time, a little news from home. Mindy got a promotion along with a really good raise. She is now a Senior EMR (electronic medical records) Implementation Specialist. Way to go Mindy!!! We're proud of you---climbing the corporate ladder at 28!!

Rhodes, Greece tomorrow. Until then....have a glass (or bottle) of Wild Rock---so good. I'm having a little trouble typing. Later....

  1. So pleased that Karolyn has copies of the visit. Perhaps you will post pictures from Santorini when you get home.. I am so enjoying stalking you on your trip!

  2. Hope you post the photos from Karolyn - and of course it may mean you have to go back ;)
