Monday Mystery

At least it's a mystery to me. 

This faucet that I bought 20 years ago when we moved in to this house---and that I still love---cannot be repaired. Jeff (my plumber) says that you cannot get parts for it. I suggested to Butch that we buy a cheap faucet and just use the parts out of it. He said they are made for the faucet and not interchangeable.

Faucets are pricey. I paid a lot for this one so long ago. I cannot imagine what it would cost today. Plus this one still looks brand new.

Bottom line: if you come to my house, you can only get cold water from this faucet. It's going to be that way for a long while. I'm just not ready to give this up.
