It's always so fun to go to Sandy's house. She always has it decorated so beautifully.
And it all starts with her tree. It is the centerpiece of the family room.
I love her pencil tree in her bedroom. She has it decorated with only her childhood ornaments. So many of them bring back such fond memories. I love that she cherishes them!

Once it got dark, I went outside to get a picture of their house all lit up.
Not only does their house look pretty, but just about the whole street. I just love Christmas lights.
And then on to Titan's apartment:
Inside on the right is his kitchen. Isn't his Christmas china so cute!
Right above his bedroom is his shelf with all of his personal effects: picture, books, a scented candle and his Advent calendar.
Below is his bed and bathroom to the right.
In the family room, he has a Christmas sleigh bed, Christmas toys and his own stuffed reindeer. That little guy can take a nap wherever he wants!
He's one happy dog! He's very well-behaved too--which his really nice when you have out-of-towners visiting.
On Friday night, Greg served Winter White Cosmos--a tradition now. We had a delicious dinner of shrimp quesadillas with all of the trimmings. We had a fun evening just catching up and hanging out.
On Saturday, Sandy, Victoria and I went to the movies and saw The Housemaid. I read the book three years ago and didn't remember everything, but enough. It is so good--many twists and turns you don't see coming. That's exactly why I like Freida McFadden's books--always a great plot twist.
When we got home, it was time to start getting things in order for the evening. Sandy, Greg and Victoria started cooking. It's tradition that they make a crab dinner. This year they did a mozzarella, tomato and avocado salad, cornbread casserole, asparagus wrapped in pastry and roasted potatoes. They don't need my help, so it's just more relaxing time for me. Of course, it was as delicious as always.
We played a fun game after the clean-up--I won!
Inside were chocolates that are donut flavored: cake butter and brownie batter. Plus there's a gift card too. Nice prize!
Oh, we can't forget the table favors! She had a gift bag full of everything you need for a nice cup of hot chocolate! We are a family who do love our table favors!
And then there's the gifts!
A joint gift of a Legos Christmas tree--an activity for Butch and me for 2026. And then we each got a matching glass-mine for a martini or champagne and Butch for his manhattans. The stars are etched in to the glass. The "old" Polaroid camera ornament was something I had admired last year. This year, Sandy got me one in pink for the white tree I have in my scrapbook room.
Victoria gave me the Christmas sweatshirt. It matches perfectly with the Kurt Geiger scarf and earrings that Sandy gave me. I plan to wear them together on Christmas Eve. We'll see--since it's supposed to be in the mid-70's here in Nashville on that day. But my plan is to wear them while serving something on the vintage plate with the vintage Santa plates and napkins! I'm pretty excited about it. I love those earring for sure and the sweatshirt and scarf. So pretty.
Okay, that's about it for the report from Atlanta!!
It's the quiet before the storm right now. Mindy and Justin might be coming to spend the night. Even if they don't, Butch and I will have our own little celebration tonight! You can be sure I'll be using my new glass from Sandy!
I hope you all have a relaxing evening tonight!
Until tomorrow...
