We were in Richmond, Virginia last week. It was our first time there. We visited 3 battlefields.
After traipsing through the battlefields and up and down through the woods, I realized that Butch said the same thing over and over---ALL day. Apparently, "Watch your step!" is his new "love" language! I posted on Facebook that I never thought it would come to this!
That evening, he took me to this restaurant: The Tobacco Company--which was actually in an old tobacco warehouse. It was so awesome with a fabulous ambience. He knows I love a tablecloth! And beautiful chandeliers! The food was fabulous!
We shared the fried green tomatoes and we both had the crab bisque. They are known for their meatloaf, so he got that while I got a wedge salad. That turned out to be the best wedge salad I've every had. It had candied pecans and onion jam. It was so huge, I couldn't even finish it! I would love to go back, but that's unlikely.

As you are reading this, we are on our way to Disney. We're going for "Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween" at the Magic Kingdom, The "Food and Wine Fest" at Epcot, and the 5K--which will be my first and last marathon! Sandy, Stephanie, Mindy and the boys are going too. We'll have fun for sure. I'm looking forward to getting a little relaxation at the pool. It's going to be hot!
