Saturday Showtunes

I haven't done a "Saturday Showtunes" post in a long time---a really long time! Given the news I have to share, I figured this would be a perfect Segway!

It's a Hard Knock Life

We have BIG job news in the family!! In age order:
1. This guy!

Greg has taken a new job with Google! AND, they are moving to Atlanta! He's going to be their new "Maintenance Excellence Manager, Global Data Centers." We all are so happy that they will be so much closer. 3 1/2 hours is an easy weekend! Greg started out his career (after the airforce) just a little south of Atlanta, so it seems fitting that they are back there. It's fair to say that Elizabeth is not totally excited---yet. It's hard to leave your friends when you are in the 8th grade! But, she is friendly and outgoing. She won't have any trouble making new friends.

We are all very excited---including this girl:

Analise's Aunt Mimi lives in Atlanta. So she's really happy!

I see many trips in my future with Connie getting these girls together! The girls will be able to spend so much more time together! I'm sure we'll be tearing up the highway!

2. This girl.

Mindy has taken a new job with Vanderbilt University Medical Center IT department. Her new title is: "Senior Ambulatory Domain Specialist." She is really excited for new challenges and education opportunities. She's happy NOT to move!

Both she and Greg start the Monday after Thanksgiving. The timing couldn't be more perfect! That gives us something extra to be truly thankful for this Thanksgiving!

3. Another girl who had decided that she didn't want to be included in this post. Apparently, she has some new photos coming and wanted me to use one of them. Soooo, we'll have to wait for another time. I haven't given anything away since we have 8 girls in the family. It could be any one of them. Take a guess.

So proud of everyone! It's an exciting time for all of them!
